Daniel Griffin, Vice President with The Hill Group, is a Pittsburgh native and a lifelong Community Leader mastering his skills at making connections and negotiating challenges. He is an engaging presenter with expertise in organizational management, mediation, board governance, fund/business development and community engagement.
Dan’s community leadership includes being an active member of the Allegheny Regional Asset by District (RAD). He has been re-appointed to the seven-member RAD board every 4 years and served as Board Chair and Vice Chair multiple times and has served on the executive committee for 20+ years. He was Finance Council member and serves as Lector of St. Joseph’s Parish, past Board Member of Tickets for Kids Charites, and Make-a-Wish of Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Dan was the President and co-founder of the Allegheny County Chamber Federation (Western PA Growth Alliance), a coalition of 25 regional Chambers of Commerce.
Dan has been recognized by Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania as “Business of the Year” citing his dedication to the Community and to its youth through his many volunteer and charitable activities. The City of Pittsburgh also recognized Dan for his donation of significant fitness equipment to the Hill District YMCA while working in the Health & Fitness industry.
He is a graduate of the Leadership Pittsburgh Class XIII, and organization dedicated to developing a robust pipeline of diverse civic leaders to serve the region.
Dan is a graduate of University of Michigan, Club Management Training, The IHRSA Institute, and, is ACSM Certified, (American College of Sports Medicine).
